Dinner Recap

I realize that many of you may find pics of my FABULOUS dinner uninteresting...but there may be someone who is inspired to try something new, based on my ravings. First, let me say, if you have never heard of Donna Hay , you should definitely check her out. Fairly simple and very elegant recipes.

The appetizer was proscuitto wrapped goat cheese toasted on baguette slices, courtesy of Donna Hay. These were SO good! The saltiness of the proscuitto mixed with the creamy texture of the goat cheese was a perfect compliment. (the pic doesn't do them justice)
Main course was beef kabobs with zuchinni and onion. We also had potato cakes and sauteed prawns. If you have never experienced prawns dipped in warm butter, please go to your local grocer's seafood counter now and splurge. I promise you, you will not be disappointed.
Been baking a lot of biscotti lately. Yesterday was the first time, we had a mishap in the kitchen. I set the oven on the wrong temp and burned three batches of almond biscotti. Hooray! But we got all orders for Mother's day out.

That was one smokin' good dinner. Goats have officially moved up in my book.
