And a Not so Nice Thing about Oklahoma

They have no idea how to maintain roads during an ice/snow storm. Here are a couple of shots of the roads we were travelling on while journeying through Oklahoma City two weeks ago. Let me just say in the two hours it took us to get through OKC, I saw not a snowplow or sand truck one.
They were however kind enough to let us know that conditions might be icy, as you can see on this sign we saw part way through our trek through OKC.

We finally made it to Texas...Hooray! The trip from Witchita to Nazareth is 6.5 hours....With all the winter weather, it took us about 11.5 hours. Needless to say, Mr. Sweet was WIPED out after driving that trip.

Bummer!
