Eureka Springs for the weekend

Mr. Sweet and I took a fun trip to Eureka Springs, Arkansas a couple of weekends ago. The town is really unique...built into the mountain and lots of cottage style buildings. It was a bit too touristy for us, but we had a great time just getting away.
We rented a cabin outside of town, which was peaceful. I was looking forward to good food and lots of rest. Both desires were satisfied by the time we headed home on Sunday.
Here are a few pics...Mud Street Cafe was a great breakfast place we found...One of the best pancakes I've ever had! (Sorry I forgot to takes pics of the breakfasts).
We ate dinner one night at a cafe called The Local Flavor. They served our San Pellegrino in chilled mason jars-I loved it! We had filet mignon with blue cheese butter and mashed potatoes and for dessert, a warm piece of pecan pie with ice cream. Fabulous! The atmoshpere was so nice because we were able to sit outside on the patio overlooking the town below and the weather was perfect!
Our cabin...The nights were cool, and we were able to light a fire in the fireplace...so cozy.
