Armoire

I have been on the hunt for an armoire to house our computer and for extra storage in the living room. Well, a friend of mine had one she gave me. Awesome! So she and I took on a little painting project a couple of weeks ago. She got roped in to helping me because she had a paint sprayer. Here is what the armoire looked like when we started.

We took all the doors and hardware off, sanded everything and then sprayed it this turquoise blue.

Then we used brown acrylic paint and water to give it an antiqued look. (My painting mentor over at Scarlet Sashes gave me this idea). I love the way it turned out, and it adds the color I needed in my living room.
