a bite to it, and boy did we hit the jackpot.
Louisiana Crab Cakes with a spicy dijion mustard sauce...The cakes were smooth and mellow and paired well with crispy lettuce and the sauce.Dinner was Fire Chicken...chicken marinated in tabasco sauce and buttermilk, lightly breaded and pan fried, mashed potatoes with creamy jalepeno sauce and haircot verts. The flavors were spectacular! After dinner we walked around downtown Colorado Springs, enjoyed the weather and ate some ice cream. Great first night of vacation. Will be reporting from Lake City in a few days. Hope you are enjoying a refreshing bite to eat today.
